The Boiler House – digital print edition

The Boiler House is a digitally printed artist book that combines my daily visits to the flooded basement of the brutalist Womersley building with close observation of the materials I found there. Drawing on my background in architecture and my enthusiasm for the Womersley building’s design, each page documents small collections alongside fragments of poetic text inspired by scientific analysis of the water in that unique space. Through this work I explore the intersection of art, architecture, and science, transforming the language of measurement into something more lyrical and reflective. It is a meditation on space, time, and attention, and a personal record of how an overlooked place reveals itself slowly over time.
